1) Use Relevant Keywords for the Domain Name
This is one of the most important on page SEO factor affecting search engine rankings for a website. Many websites have seen success even without having the keyword phrase in the domain name but having your main keyword in the domain name makes it easier to achieve good search engine rankings.
2) Optimize the Keywords in the Title Tag
This is the most important on page SEO factor for better search engine rankings. Title tag is generally present on the top left corner of the browser, and in the HTML code of the page it’s the text between andtags in the header section of the HTML-page.
3) Write great headlines
Apart from using title tags you should use headline tags in the theme or template of your blog or website. For example you should use H1 headline tag for the main headline of the page. You should carefully choose your theme that uses different headline tags for different pages. When you choose a SEO-friendly theme, both the title tag and H1 can be easily optimized by writing great headlines and including relevant keyword phrases in them.
4) Avoid keyword stuffing
You should never repeat your keyword phrases too many times in your content. Keyword stuffing which means the keyword phrase is used too many times has a negative impact on search engine rankings.
5) Create Unique Content
You need to create unique content to achieve good search engine rankings. If you post duplicate content on your blog you can never achieve decent search engine rankings as your website’s credibility declines in search engine results.
6) Keep your content fresh
You should keep adding fresh content to your website or blog on a regular basis. Search engines love fresh content and if you keep adding new content regularly it will help you achieve high search engine rankings. Don’t leave your blog or website too long without adding new content. You don’t need to put content multiple times in a day or daily. Prepare a posting schedule and stick to it to help get search engine love for your blog.

It can be very hard to come up with an effective headline but all the same, it is very important as it should immediately give an idea of what the rest of the content will be about. Also, a lot of people forget to focus on the title tag keywords also while some don’t even one.

I agree with your 13 tips…. It must be done in SEO. This one is really very descriptive post on on-page optimization. I think on page optimization is much more valuable than off page optimization.In on-page optimization anchoring text is most valuable.
This tips should be keep in mind even by newbie blogger and those who have long time experience in blogging. I do agree that keyword stuffing should be something that should be avoided since it really affects SERP at sometime but in my experience some of my post has almost redundant keywords but it get better SERP with google. All I can say is just maintain keyword density in every post.
